My name is Tjelvar and I'm a biochemistry PhD. Since finishing my PhD in 2008 I've worked both in academia and industry, developing scientific software and building scientific computing platforms. I started off as an individual contributor, but ended up managing people and leading teams.

This has resulted in my working life being spent at interfaces:

​

  • The interface between science and computing
  • The interface between humans and software
  • The interface between hard and soft skill

​

In 2025 I founded Cyborg Interfaces Ltd to help individuals and organisations reduce the friction that occur at these interfaces.
